About Me, The Photographer

Having earned a BS in the Biological Sciences from Rutgers University, I spent the majority of my professional life working as a research scientist in the biotech industry. But I have always been a photographer at heart. I spent my free time working on my photography. One day I realized that dedicating my free time to photography was not enough to satisfy my passion, so I decided to hang my lab coat up for good and strap my camera on permanently. I went back to school and earned a Bachelor of Fine ARts for Photography from San Francisco State University.

My approach to photography is that of a hybrid scientist/artist. The scientist in me governs my work ethic: I am very detail oriented, meticulous and organized. The artist in me influences my style: I strive for artistic, creative, and fun imagery that captures the essence of the moment.

Whenever I take photographs, I imagine that I am the client and work to achieve a quality that I would be happy with. I set high standards so that my clients get the best photos possible.
